Ja'Marr Chase 2021 (Bengals)

Ja'Marr Chase, probably one of the top picks for WR in 2021.

It scares me a bit that we don't have any tape of 2020, so we have to trust the 2019 tape - but that's 1.5 years ago by now.

Still, let's look at a couple plays from the 2019 game against Auburn (tough opponent with a good pass defense):

Bump and run, thrown behind him.

Contested catch.

Good route, but he isn't even picked up by the #9 (it seems they play zone) until it's way too late. Burrow isn't interested though.

Seth Williams 2021 (Broncos WR)

Seth Williams was drafted in the 6th round by the Broncos, but he was actually the highest scoring receiver at Auburn in 2020, ahead of Anthony Schwartz who went 3 rounds earlier. Just turned 21, good size/weight at 6'3/211.

George Kittle (2020)

"Singing hey diddle diddle with a Kittle in the middle..." We are now so used to having monster TE receivers that it's easy to overlook the achievement of Kittle - only 14 TEs in the past 30 years had multiple 1000yd seasons, and only 5 in history had multiple seasons before their 27th birthday (10 points if you can name the others besides the obvious Gronk and Kittle).

Fantasy Theory: Running Back Peak Age

Now that we know receivers peak around age 25-27 , what can we say about Running Backs?
