Trey Lance 2021 (49ers)

Let's take a look at the only game Lance played in 2020, against the Central Arkansas Bears, a Division I FCU team.

Not a great look; he fails to recognise the blitzing LB, and gets stripped of the ball for a turnover. Also not the best camera work, btw.

Lance dances for 5 seconds between his linemen who keep him alive, but the pass is not great, in the end and incomplete.

Another pressure, Lance starts running but is caught from behind.

However, it was clear that the whole team was rusty here, and the opponent was fully committed to making him pay. Let's also look at the second half, which was a lot better.

Seth Williams 2021 (Broncos WR)

Seth Williams was drafted in the 6th round by the Broncos, but he was actually the highest scoring receiver at Auburn in 2020, ahead of Anthony Schwartz who went 3 rounds earlier. Just turned 21, good size/weight at 6'3/211.

George Kittle (2020)

"Singing hey diddle diddle with a Kittle in the middle..." We are now so used to having monster TE receivers that it's easy to overlook the achievement of Kittle - only 14 TEs in the past 30 years had multiple 1000yd seasons, and only 5 in history had multiple seasons before their 27th birthday (10 points if you can name the others besides the obvious Gronk and Kittle).

Fantasy Theory: Running Back Peak Age

Now that we know receivers peak around age 25-27 , what can we say about Running Backs?
